Last weekend I didn’t want anything else but fresh blackberries. Its not quite blackberry season here in Florida, but I had a craving for some and wanted to make a fresh fruit salad.   I drove to four grocery stores before I finally found two packages of fresh blackberries. Maybe I’m the only one who will spend so long looking for fruit, but I was really glad when I was able to find them.

Using some strawberries from the garden, along with blueberries and the blackberries I so aimlessly went searching for, I made this fresh berry salad. There is nothing really special about this recipe, its just some fresh berries mixed together with a sweet citrus flavor. It is a quick, easy and delicious snack or dessert.

Triple Berry Salad is made with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and a simple honey-mint lemon glaze!

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey and lemon juice. Add the strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. Mix well. Garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately or refrigerate.
