This previous weekend I attended my very first food blogging conference in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. When I have the time to go through all my pictures I will tell you all about my enjoyable journey. The plan was to get some of that done yesterday however I came home to a teething infant who is requiring some mommy and daddy snuggle time. This was my very first complete weekend far from Livi and I missed her so much while I was gone. Luckily I have a GREAT spouse who sent me videos and images throughout my journey.
Whole Foods in Orlando hosted an exceptional breakfast for all the food blogging guests before all of us headed back house. This was a few of the best food that I have actually had in a long time. This strawberry caprese baguette was influenced by among the meals that we had at Whole Foods. I loved having actually fresh strawberries coupled with the mozzarella rather of the routine cherry tomatoes. This meal can easily be worked as an appetizer or as a side meal.
In the center photo above you will see a nifty looking gadget. Yes, I completely just said NIFTY. A couple of weeks ago I got an amazing box of OXO fruit devices. I utilized my strawberry huller for this dish and it definitely helped me out with the strawberries. I was so used to slicing or slicing off the end of the strawberry but having this item just made me understand how much of the real strawberry was being squandered simply to get the leaves off. My strawberry huller is now my brand-new BFF in the cooking world since I can crank out strawberries in no time.
I hope you enjoy this easy yet simple Summertime dish. Stay tuned for updates on my food blog conference.
