If you are a healthy smoothie lover then you can thank my pal Brooklyn for being her today! She is such an adorable girl & has some delicious recipes! Take pleasure in! ~ Amber
Hey everybody I’m Brooklyn, I blog over at Cook & Craft Me Crazy! I adore cooking, and crazy about crafting! I’ve been wed for practically 5 years and have 2 kids. My little lady is 3 and my little boy is 15 months. I’m a Flying force partner who likes to smile, play volley ball and dance to workout. I likewise delight in dancing to old records in my cooking area with my kids.
Like Amber stated previously, this entire month is Healthy Food, Healthy You, and here is something to help you stay on track!
I make healthy smoothies or shakes almost every morning for breakfast. It’s an excellent way to get your fruit and dairy servings quickly. The important things I like about shakes, is they fast put together and fast to clean up! I drink this on the go, naturally sharing sips along the way with my kids. This is our all time favorite! It goes down quick and stays with you ’til lunch!
We hope you like it as much as we do!
- 1 1/2 cup frozen Banana Slices and Frozen Strawberries
- 1 cup Milk (we use 1%)
- 2-3 Tbsp Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
Integrate all in a mixer and mix up until smooth. Sip through a straw or gulp with a spoon. DELISH!
Don’t let the shake sit too long without drinking. This is natural fruit and it will brown – brown smoothies aren’t extremely appealing to consume.
