Ingredients

    pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1

    can (16 oz) Old El Paso ™ refried beans
  • 1

    can (10 oz) Old El Paso ™ enchilada sauce
  • 1

    bundle (1 oz) Old El Paso ™ 40% Less-Sodium Taco Flavoring Mix
  • 1

    jar (16 oz) Old El Paso ™ Thick ‘n Chunky salsa
  • 25

    hotdog or bratwurst buns, split
  • 3

    cups shredded Mexican cheese mix (12 oz)
  • 3

    cups shredded lettuce
  • 2

    big tomatoes, chopped (2 cups)
  • 1

    container (12 oz) sour cream

    In 12- inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat, stirring periodically, till brown; drain. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, place beef. Stir in refried beans, enchilada sauce, taco spices mix and salsa.

    Cover and cook on Low heat setting 4 to 6 hours.

    To serve, fill each bun with about 1/3 cup beef mix and top with cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream.
