Easy dinner on the cheap. Yep, this Philly cheesesteak sandwich takes no time at all to prepare and cost a little less than $3.50 per sandwich to make.
You can get all fancy with this, but I kept mine traditional and classic. I know, can you believe I didn’t tweak this ten times over, per my usual busy hands.
But these busy hands have been working more than my usual share on projects, while at times holding a baby in one and a whisk or camera in the other. The latter being a poorly thought-out and disastrous choice that ended up in nearly cracking one of lenses as I dropped my camera on the floor. Good thing I had a hood on the lens, that took the brunt of the shattering, as for the lens it’s not the same, but it is functional.
And that is the theme these days when it comes to dinner – functional. Nothing fancy, and admittedly, maybe a tad under inspired in terms of personal spins, but I’m getting there. Along with that my fingers are flexing there way back to punched up desserts. So stay with me, because our regularly scheduled dessert programming around here will be back Wednesday.
