Punch up cheeseburgers with tangy fresh mushrooms gently marinated in tangy-sweet balsamic vinegar.

Active Ingredients

    pound. lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2

    teaspoons lemon-pepper flavoring
  • 2

    cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4

    cup bought balsamic vinaigrette
  • 4

    kaiser rolls, split
  • 4

    ( 1-oz.) pieces Swiss cheese

    Heat grill. In medium bowl, integrate ground beef and 1 teaspoon of the lemon-pepper seasoning; mix well. Shape mix into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.

    In medium bowl, integrate mushrooms, remaining 1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning and vinaigrette; toss to coat. Reserve.

    When prepared to grill, location patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 11 to 13 minutes or up until patties are thoroughly prepared, turning when.

    To toast rolls, location cut sides down on grill during last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time. Place 1 slice of cheese on each patty; cook an extra minute or till cheese is melted.

    Location patties on bottom halves of rolls. Leading each with mushroom mixture and top half of roll.

  • To broil patties, put on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat utilizing times above as a guide, turning once. To toast rolls, place cut sides up on broiler pan throughout last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time. Place 1 slice of cheese on each patty; prepare an additional minute.
