Hearty simple and really delicious I have actually made this recipe many times! The recipe is mutating as I play with it. I now substitute a cup of red white wine for one of the cups of water. Often I skip the bulgur( and reduce the water). I have actually also been including some sliced fried shiitake mushrooms when I have them. The spices offer it such a tasty taste however if your paprika is HOT you may desire less of it. I typically put in more cinnamon and less of the paprika. This is a wonderful meal for company – you can make it ahead and let it simmer in the pot until you’re all set. Serve with brown rice.
Really Tasty Dish This was an extremely delicious dish! The lamb is fatty adequate and I ended up having to skim off the added fat. Pros: Easy to make Cons: Don’t require the included oil.
