Juicy and scrumptious lamb hamburgers with creamy goat cheese and avocado– and easy and healthy dinner that’s on the table in 15 minutes.

Has the weather condition heated up where you are? Almost overnight we went from gloomy, wintery days to temperatures in the mid-eighties– terrific for planting our tomatoes and peppers this weekend.

It’s suddenly al fresco dining season around here, and we’re planning to soak it up while it lasts, or rather before the cloying Summer season heat and humidity set in.

Over the weekend, the Honey and I went to our downtown farmer’s market for the very first time since it opened for the season, and got some great, regional produce and meat for the week. We took home this ground lamb, that made its way onto a big brioche bun topped with fresh avocado, velvety goat cheese and greens, making for a healthy, delicious burger that we think tastes finest served outside in the Spring sunlight.

Easy and delicious Lamb Burgers with Goat Cheese and Avocado, ready in under 15 minutes.

1 pound ground lamb

1 tsp curry powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper

4 brioche or whole-wheat buns

4 tbsp goat cheese, collapsed

1 avocado, pitted and sliced

Optional Garnishes: lettuce, fresh sprouts, slices of red onion, cucumber slices


  1. In a large bowl, utilize your hands to mix together the lamb with the spices up until equally integrated.
  2. On the other hand, lightly toast the buns. When the burgers are prepared, top with the goat cheese and avocado and any other desired garnishes, and serve instantly.
